A First-Class Third Class

This week, the third class of Sightpath University MoFe Engineers reported for training and orientation to our facility in Tennessee.

Over the next several weeks, our new engineers will be learning from our clinical applications specialists and senior engineers as well as other members of our operations team, management and manufacturer trainers to learn the ins-and-outs of operating and maintaining the equipment and transporting it safely.

This class of Sightpath University MoFe Engineers will graduate on March 6th, bringing the total to 11 engineers who have completed the program. After graduation, the group will spend several additional weeks in the field in on-the-job training, shadowing experienced engineers in actual case-day situations.

On Sunday evening, Sightpath invited current and prospective users of its MoFe (Mobile femtosecond for cataract surgery) service to a panel discussion featuring surgeons who have successfully integrated laser-cataract surgery into their existing practice offerings. The event was recorded, and the video will become available on the Sightpath website in early December.
